Elliot Howard Bassman earned his MFA degree from Columbia University. An artist, author and curator, he has given many readings of his poetry and essays at Giovanni’s Room in Philadelphia and at Flushing Town Hall in Queens.   • Two Stories (2005), 8 ½” x 5 ½”, takes a modern view of biblical events and includes three of the author’s  black and white illustrations.
  • The Bed (2006), 8 ½” x 5 ½”, story with cover and two illustrations by the author.
  • In the Wind (Winter 2009),  8 ½” x 6" short story with cover and 15 illustrations by the artist.
