John Digby British-born poet and collagist, he is widely published in magazines and anthologies and is the author of four books of poems: Sailing Away from Night, The Structure of Bifocal Distance, To Amuse a Shrinking Sun (Anvil Press Poetry) and Incantations (Stone House Press).  He was the co-founder of Caligula Books (London). He has also co-edited a number of literary anthologies, among them, Water Voyages and Dancing to the Music of Poetry, published in sequential booklets by The Feral Press. Co-author (with his wife) of The Collage Handbook (Thames and Hudson) he is widely acknowledged for his “archival” approach to collage materials and techniques. His poetry, published in magazines and chapbooks,  has been translated into French, Romanian, Russian and Arabic. He has illustrated many booklets for diverse authors published by The Feral Press. He has also illustrated and published a number of his own and “found” poems as well as prose pieces and improvisations from Chinese poetry.
