Jim Harter is a collage artist, writer, painter, and editor of many clip-art books serving the graphic arts profession.  His book, World Railways of the Nineteenth Century: A Pictorial History in Victorian Engravings, was published by Johns Hopkins University Press in 2005.  A collage book, Initiations in the Abyss: a Surrealist Apocalypse, was published by Wings Press in 2003.
