Ilmar Lehtpere is a translator of Estonian poetry, currently living in Tallinn. His work has been published in Estonia, Ireland, England and the U. S.  

• Sõja Laula: The Estonian Song of War (2005), 8 ½” x 5 ½”, compiled by Hella Wuolijoki from Estonian folk songs and translated by Ilmar Lehtpere. A 26 page work in three slim gatherings with cover illustrations from nineteenth century engravings.
