Tara L. Masih is a writer as well as a professional freelance editor for trade and university presses. She has her MA in both fields from Emerson College. Her fiction, poetry, essays and articles have appeared in numerous magazines and on NPR. She is editor of The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Writing Flash Fiction, and author of the story collection Where the Dog Star Never Glows. A native of East Northport, Long Island, she lives and works in Andover, MA.
