Francis Poole's poems have appeared in Black Moon, Beloit Poetry Journal, Lost & Found Times, the New York Quarterly, Pearl, Poetry East, Poem, Rolling Stone, Shattered Wig Review, World Letter and elsewhere. He co-edited (with Kevin Lacey) Mirrors on the Maghrib, a collection of essays on Paul and Jane Bowles. He taught at the American School of Tangier for three years and spent four years in Portugal. His chapbook, Gestures, was published by Anhinga Press. He edits and publishes BLADES, a tiny magazine and lives in Newark, Delaware where he is a film librarian.
