P. Brent Register is a composer and  Professor of Music at Clarion University.  His settings for John Digby's improvisations on five Chinese poems was performed in Denver in 2007. He has collaborated with the John Ollom Dance Theater on a dance performance of  these poems. More recently has composed a longer song cycle based on Digby's adaptations from the poetry of Tu Fu, entitled Evening Peace, which premiered at Clarion University in 2009.
