Mary McLaughlin Slechta’s poetry and fiction have appeared in journals and anthologies. An associate editor of The Comstock Review, she is the author of a chapbook Buried Bones and another book entitled Wreckage on the Watery Moon (both from Foothills Publishing).  Her Feral Press book, The Boy’s Nightmare, illustrated by her sister, Rita Kelley, is a riveting collection of poems that touch the mythic imagination.
